Females get to be roughly 6-7KGs with a height of 23-28cm. The males get to be roughly 7-10KGs with a height of 25-30cm.
These dogs are amazing dogs for people who have allergies. These dogs are known to be hypoallergenic
These dogs are a friendly breed who are active yet independent.
The Westie loves people, he is an everybody dog.
The great thing is – he is also great with kids of all ages. They are also a very playful breed, so the kids will love it.
These dogs can also adapt to cats too – so you don’t have to worry about that!
These dogs are known to not be bothered by traveling, and they are actually a good apartment dog as they need to be inside – and they don’t mind being left alone with the right amount of things to do while you’re at work
These dogs are very smart so they can be trained quickly. Either by using treats or by using a clicker. Don’t use harsh methods with this breed, and they will expect something to be in it for them, and with a harsh method they can ignore you completely.
These dogs are known to bark a lot, so be sure to set him in the right direction at a young age to avoid any issues as an adult
As I said earlier these dogs are independent – but at the same time they will never turn down your love. So it makes them a fantastic overall dog.
They are also easy to house train as they are generally a clean dog.
One thing though, these pups are known to love to dig. So be aware of this if you love your garden!
