Bite Force – Who Has The Strongest Bite Force?
For those of you who have been bitten by a dog will know they have a nasty amount of strength in their jaws.
Here is a list I found of a few dogs who have huge amounts of strength in their jaws.
So if these are true, here is the verdict:
Pitbulls with a strength of between 250 – 300 pounds
German Shepherds with a force between 240 – 600 pounds
Dobermans with a force between 200 – 400. Though it has been said these dogs can snap a mans arm with one bite.
Rottweilers with a force of roughly 300 pounds
Mastiffs are said to have a forced of 550 pounds.
Dogs don’t just bite people. They will only snap or bite when they feeling threatened, or when they are protecting their owner.
Don’t ever tease a dog.
