Hi Everyone
Meet Daisy – For awhile now i have been posting things about other peoples dogs. So i thought it was about time to share my dogs with everyone 🙂
I got Daisy when she was five weeks old. It didn’t take long for her to settle into our home. She was at that stage the only dog, and she really really loved to be outside. So luckily we had sliding gates where she could go in and out whenever she wanted to. She also loved to spend a lot of time in the rain. And i guess in general she spent more time outside than inside.
Her favourite toys included bottles, coke bottles (be it a 500ml, or a 2l). She would chase this around the house like crazy!
We then a few months later moved to a house in Buccleuch where she had friends (Jasmine, Kiara, and Freckles) my moms dogs. She loved the attention. And she already knew them because we used to take her over to my mom to visit on the weekends. So at least it was easy to transition them into the house. 🙂
Daisy is a Pekingese. She turned one a few days ago. She is black and white in colour.
You know people warn you about certain dog breeds being stubborn, but i think until you actually experience it for yourself – you will NEVER quite understand what that actually means.
Daisy was easy to potty train, as i said we had gate that she could go in and out of on her own so she luckily just went when she needed too. Though – this often meant that we would hear her chasing that bottle around the lounge at 2am – we have to love their crazy personalities.
This breed don’t do very well with water so she didn’t swim much – which as a “mom” made me more comfortable anyway as we had a pool outside our bedroom in our first place. At least when we moved there was no pool – though… I did buy my mom a free standing pool. Which I swam in with her occasionally as it wasn’t deep – so in the hot summer it was great!
A few months later someone in the family’s dogs had puppies of the same breed. So without much hesitation we got Daisy a sister. I will make a post on her too! 🙂
Look below for pictures of Daisy as she got older and grew into the beautiful young lady she is now.
