These dogs have webbed feet, how awesome is that?

These dogs are a medium height breed with a females height being around 43-53cm and the males height being roughly 50-57cm

These dogs are either – black, brown or white. With white markings.

These dogs have a thick, non-shedding coat which is curly/wavy

These dogs have a lot of energy with a strong and powerful build

They love going on adventures, they are loving and love to exercise

These dogs come in several colours including; Black, White, Red, Grey, Sable, Blue, Cream, Brown, Apricot and Silver

These dogs are very proud animals and are smart

Because these dogs are intellengent they are easy to train

They are a great family dog and do not like being left alone for long periods of time

These dogs can be as small as 1 foot and as tall as 10 inches at the shoulder

With a weight of 50-70 pounds

These dogs were originally bred to fetch birds out the water for hunters

So as most people know a poodle to be prim and proper. It dated back to the old days when the dogs used to get their fur caught on fences. So they used to trim the hair but leave hair in certain places to protect their organs.

These dogs are known to bark, chase small animals (which could include your cat) and dig holes.
These dogs like to gather their humans things (shoes, clothes, socks) and keep them in a little treasure pile.
Saying this, these dogs also love to chew. So it’s preferable not to leave your things laying around when your pup is bored.

The males are roughly 23 inches and weigh about 50-65 pounds. The females a bit smaller and weigh 40-55 pounds

These are inside dogs yet they are independent

These dogs have a lot of energy so they need a lot of exercise. They are happiest inside with their family. They are also a great family dog as they are good with children.
 .
So to make sure you get the best out of your dog you should socialise and train them from an early age.
And also make sure you get a dog that isn’t from a backdoor breeder
 .

And then…. not forgetting the West Highland Terrier
